3.A NATIVE TRUSTEE APPOINTMENT
A communication was received on 2000 November 20 from Linda Doxtator,
Education Administrator,Onyota'a:ka Kalihuny'^NihtsIa Tehatilihutal<was,
advising that Philip Schuyler has been appointed Native Trustee for a three-
year term,effective 2000 December 01.
The report is received on motion of Peters and Jaffe.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2001
4-A Election of Chairperson of the Board
P. Askey, Acting Secretary ofthe Board, called forwritten nominations forthe
office of Chairperson of the Board.Nominations wee declared closed on
motion of Stevenson and Hunter.
Trustees Bennett,Hart,and Jaffe were nominated and declined to
accept the nomination.
Trustee Stewart was nominatedand declared his acceptance ofthe
nomination.
Trustee Stewart was declared Chairperson of the Board for Year
2001 and assumed the chair.
4-B ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRPERSON
Chairperson Stewart called for written nominations for the office of Vice
Chairperson of the Board.Nominations were declared closed on motion of
Stevenson and Jaffe.
Trustees Bennett and Hartwere nominated and declared their acceptance
of the nomination.Ballots were distributed,collected and counted.
Trustee Bennett was declared Vice Chairperson of the Board for Year 2001.
4-C All ballots were destroyed on motion of Peters and Jaffe.
